The International Baccalaureate Programme (IB) is a course of study designed to meet the educational requirements of students aged between 16 and 18 years. The IB Diploma Programme (DP) is a well-rounded, rigorous course of study, devised to develop students with skills for the 21st Century, who are informed global citizens. It aims to help students to develop the knowledge, attitudes and skills they need to participate actively and responsibly in a changing and increasingly interrelated world.

The programme reflects the IB commitment to internationalism through second language learning and through some literature requirements in English. The programme includes learning outside the classroom through the extended essay and the community, and to independent learning through research.

The International Baccalaureate Diploma is a rigorous two-year university preparatory program. The IB “aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.” Through TOK ; students learn to ask meaningful questions. They gain a sense of curiosity and a healthy degree of skepticism.

The Extended Essay ; gives room for knowledgeable young scholars to hone their research and writing skills and become experts in a particular field.

CAS ; provides the opportunity for students to reach out to the broader community and give something back.

These core components, combined with a rigorous set of academic courses, provide growth both personally and intellectually.

In an increasingly diverse and global world community, the IB is the foremost international gateway to universities around the world. Our students can benefit from the notoriety and prestige of the IB Diploma to enter the best universities in the United States, UK, Canada, Europe, Australia and Latin America, as well as almost anywhere else.
